About Ron Romano

Ron’s life was defined by vision, integrity, generosity, and an unwavering passion for real estate, community, and the people he served. With more than 35 years of experience, he built a remarkable career that left an enduring mark on the Emerald Coast and far beyond.

Originally from New Orleans and raised in Denver, Ron graduated from the University of Colorado and began a career distinguished by leadership, innovation, and exceptional service. While still in college, he entered the world of property management, serving as receiver for residential and commercial properties with Coast Savings of California. After graduation, he partnered with a team of Wall Street investors, helping acquire, develop, and manage properties across three states while owning and operating Professional Property Services, his full-service property management and brokerage firm.

Over the course of his career, Ron was involved in more than $1 billion in real estate transactions. Recognizing the extraordinary potential of Florida’s Emerald Coast, he began investing in the area in 2000 and made it his full-time home in 2003. Alongside his longtime friend and business partner, Andy Wiggins, he co-founded The Beach Group, creating a company built on professionalism, market expertise, and a genuine commitment to serving clients with excellence.

Together, Ron and Andy developed numerous commercial projects, including warehouse, office, and retail developments, as well as award-winning residential communities throughout the region. Their work helped shape the growth of the Emerald Coast and provided lasting value to countless clients, homeowners, and investors.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ron embraced life with enthusiasm and gratitude. He loved the beach, surfing, snow skiing, scuba diving, and traveling. He believed in giving back and generously supported organizations close to his heart, including the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

While Ron’s achievements were significant, those who knew him will remember him most for his kindness, optimism, mentorship, and friendship. He had a unique ability to bring people together, inspire confidence, and make everyone feel valued. His influence can be seen not only in the communities he helped build, but in the countless lives he touched along the way.

Ron’s legacy lives on through The Beach Group, the communities he helped create, the relationships he nurtured, and the many people fortunate enough to call him a friend, mentor, partner, and family. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever appreciated.
