A native of Florida’s Panhandle, MJ has a deep connection to the area, growing up between DeFuniak Springs and Okaloosa Island. Her parents owned a manufacturing plant in the northern part of Walton County, and weekends were spent sailing the Gulf of Mexico—an experience that sparked her lifelong love for the water and the local community.
After graduating from Fort Walton Beach High School, MJ attended Loyola University in New Orleans and later earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of West Florida.
With over two decades of business experience, MJ has co-owned a successful local construction company with her husband, Edward, since 2000. She also has extensive experience managing both vacation and long-term rental properties, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the real estate market and its dynamics. This combination of business expertise and hands-on property experience made her transition into real estate a natural one.
MJ and Edward are proud parents of five children: Miko, who lives in Santa Rosa Beach; Magdalena, who resides in Poland; Micah and Maris, both students at the University of Central Florida; and Mateus, a junior at South Walton High School.
In her free time, MJ enjoys traveling the world, paddling the local waters, biking the area’s scenic nature trails, and indulging in the incredible local cuisine. As a lifelong resident, MJ’s hometown knowledge and insight into the local market make her uniquely qualified to help clients find the best investment opportunities and navigate the real estate landscape with confidence.
